(Correspondents: Li Jiajing and Ma Yuankai) In the past few days, the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government issued the Notice on Publishing 2020 Shaanxi (Universities) Key Philosophy and Social Science Study Base Construction and Shaanxi New Colleges and Universities Think Tank Accreditation Results, and upon the school recommendation, qualification examination, defense evaluation, site investigation and social publicity of the University, the “Intelligent Economy and Management Research Center” in the charge of Professor Zhou Xiaoyang’s team was approved as a new think tank among Shaanxi universities.

Guided by Xi Jinping’s new era socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Intelligent Economic and Management Research Center is committed to exploring the new development road of intelligent economy with Shaanxi characteristics, and is mainly involved in development under integration of information technology, digital economy, 5G, industrial Internet, block chain, artificial intelligence and other technologies to jointly drive the formation of intelligent economic field, as well as has been persisting in high starting point in high station and firmly grasping the fundamental task of service decision making, so as to strive to build a high-level open think tank platform. It has been adhering to the goal orientation and problem orientation, and focusing on major theoretical and practical issues on intelligent economy and management.

The title of provincial new think tank of universities will help the economics discipline of the School to further refine the discipline direction, highlight the discipline characteristics, and build a scientific research team. This is an important measure to improve the cultural soft power of the School, and provides powerful high-quality intellectual support for the development of Shaanxi Province. The School will deliver the goods and strive to build a solid platform for scientific researches.
